Aug 23, 2011 – A 5.8-magnitude earthquake on the Richter scale rattled the East Coast shortly before 2 p.m. It was my first experience with an earthquake. At Paula's home in Trenton, NJ, I was sitting in her living room listening to oldies music. Suddenly we felt the entire house shake. Furniture shook. I tried to steady myself. Paula and I looked at each other with surprise. We ran outside. Neghbors were shouting, "It's an earthquake." After 45 seconds everything was calm.
Paula treated me to a birthday tea on Aug 26, 2011.
Aug 27, 2011 - I is time for me to leave. Paula drives me to the Philadelphia Airport. I arrive back in Pittsburgh where Angie and her children pick me up at the airport. My New Jersey trip as a very memorable one.
